Staffmark Group in Rogers, AR is hiring a Production Supervisor to lead daily manufacturing operations on the 1st shift (7 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday - Friday). The role offers a salary of $80,000 to $90,000 per year, depending on experience, with overtime often starting around 5 AM.

Ideal candidates have 10–13 years of leadership in high-volume manufacturing, a degree in mechanical or electrical engineering (or related field), and certifications in Lean/Six Sigma.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise daily manufacturing operations to ensure safe, efficient, and on-time production.
• Coordinate production staff, materials, equipment, and schedules to meet customer demand and delivery commitments.
• Monitor quality standards, troubleshoot production issues, and implement corrective actions to improve performance.
• Drive Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma initiatives to reduce costs, eliminate waste, and increase productivity.
• Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations, company policies, and quality management systems.
• Partner with engineering, maintenance, and quality teams to optimize operations and improve customer satisfaction.
• Develop, train, coach, and manage production employees while maintaining workforce engagement and accountability.

Education Requirements

• Familiarity with carbide tool manufacturing processes is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of ISO, QMS, and departmental audit requirements.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to collaborate across production, engineering, maintenance, and quality teams.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to work in a manufacturing plant environment with regular exposure to machinery and production equipment.
• Capable of standing, walking, and moving throughout the production floor for extended periods.
• Ability to oversee multiple production areas and respond quickly to operational issues.
• Must follow all safety policies, procedures, and personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements.
