PROFILE:
Our client is a tier 1 supplier to the automotive and heavy trucking industries. They are a newer manufacturing plant with this site marking the companies first ever manufacturing site in the USA! This is an opportunity where you can come in at the ground floor and grow with the company professionally. This plant has exceptional members in the leadership team and the culture at the plant is positive.
POSITION:
**THESE POSITIONS ARE ON 2ND OR 3RD SHIFT**
Our client is seeking a handful of Production Supervisors to lead manufacturing teams on the shop floor of this fast paced manufacturing environment. Supervisors are the front line of manufacturing leadership and our client is seeking individuals with prior leadership experience as a Supervisor or a very tenured Team Leader. We are looking for mentors who can lead from the front and by example who will be goal focused and drive those in their area to meeting plant and shift targets. In this role you will also be responsible for setting schedules, disciplinary measures and keeping up team moral. Somebody with prior fast paced manufacturing (automotive experience ideally) would do well in this environment.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must have prior industrial manufacturing leadership experience
- Must have prior experience leading teams of around 25 people or greater
- Must be willing to work 2nd or 3rd shift
- Lean Six Sigma or other continuous improvement experience is ideal
- Must be an effective communicator
- Must be a US Citizen or Green Card holder- sponsorship is not available in this role
