Job summary

nVent is seeking a hands-on Second Shift Production Supervisor to coordinate activities, supervise staff, and ensure safety, quality, and efficiency on the floor.

The role requires strong planning skills, ability to read prints, and readiness to work the second shift after training, with attention to material readiness and timely shipping coordination.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of leadership experience in metal fabrication or manufacturing.
• Strong planning and organizational skills are required.
• Good computer skills are required.
• Ability to read prints and tape measurements to 1/16 in.
• Willingness to work second shift after training.
• Must be able to stand/walk 2/3 of an 8–10 hour shift in a non-air-conditioned environment.
