Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to obtain forklift certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily production activities by reviewing schedules, prioritizing work, and coordinating operations.
• Drive output, quality, and efficiency across production processes.
• Collaborate with maintenance, procurement, and quality teams to optimize performance.
• Monitor and analyze production data, identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Ensure proper machine operation and coordinate maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Enforce safety policies and promote a strong safety-first culture.
• Oversee timekeeping and approve employee time records.
• Train, coach, and develop team members to improve performance and engagement.
• Maintain knowledge of product specifications, grades, and customer requirements.

What You’ll Do

What We’re Looking For

• Manufacturing experience required (wood/veneer industry preferred)
• Strong mechanical aptitude with hands‑on experience working with equipment such as: Lathes, Debarker machines, excavators or similar heavy equipment
• Proven ability to lead teams and drive production results
• Comfortable working on the floor and troubleshooting equipment/process issues
• Experience with LEAN manufacturing principles preferred
• Ability to manage schedules, production data, and time approvals
