Job summary

Inovar Packaging Group, LLC is seeking a 2nd Shift Production Supervisor to oversee our fast-paced label production operations in Oceanside, California. You will monitor staffing, organize workflows, and drive productivity while maintaining cost efficiency and quality standards.

The ideal candidate has proven leadership, strong communication, and hands-on experience with manufacturing machinery. A technical or engineering background is preferred; high school diploma required.

Qualifications

• Must have proven experience as a Production Supervisor or Lead.
• Strong leadership and communication capabilities.
• Experience operating various manufacturing machinery and tools.
• Technical or engineering background welcomed; degree preferred.
• Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Set and communicate daily, weekly, and monthly objectives to employees.
• Supervise and evaluate staff performance to meet goals.
• Organize workflow by assigning responsibilities and preparing production schedules.
• Provide coaching, training in press setup/operation, tooling, troubleshooting, and safety.
• Ensure safe operation of equipment and schedule maintenance.
• Conduct first article QC checks against job-ticket specs.
• Prepare and submit performance and progress reports.
• Identify inefficiencies and recommend process improvements.
• Enforce safety guidelines and uphold company values.
• Promote accurate job costing through time and material tracking.
• Lead daily shift meetings focusing on safety and production.

Key Responsibilities
