Job summary

Cascades in Lancaster, New York is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead a 3rd shift team Sunday–Thursday 10:00pm–6:00am, driving safety, quality, and productivity.

You’ll supervise daily operations, mentor frontline staff, and partner with quality and maintenance to meet KPI targets while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Salary ranges from $80,000 to $95,000 with profit sharing and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of leadership and lean continuous improvement experience in manufacturing.
• High School Diploma; Bachelor's degree preferred in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Technology or Business Administration.
• Strong computer skills including MS365 and SAP or ERP software.
• Willing to work 10:00pm–6:00am Sunday–Thursday as the business grows.

Responsibilities

• Drive optimal management of health and safety, production sequence, and product quality.
• Monitor operating parameters and develop action plans to close performance gaps.
• Engage employees through meaningful interactions and a team approach to meet production goals.
• Optimize resources and enforce effective communication and leadership systems to meet KPI targets.
• Support workforce planning, scheduling, and approval of weekly hours worked.

Your Role

As Production Supervisor, you’ll take on real challenges that bring out your full potential.

Your Scope Includes

• Drive optimal management of occupational health and safety, target production sequence and product compliance with quality standards.
• Monitor operating parameters while developing action plans to close performance gaps and resolve challenges.
• Engage employees through meaningful interactions, ongoing communications, and a team approach toward meeting production goals while nurturing a culture of continuous improvement.
• Achieve operational efficiency objectives associated with your business unit’s strategy by optimizing available resources, rigorously applying business processes and establishing an effective communication and leadership system.
• Support workforce planning, scheduling and approval of weekly hours worked.
• Manage performance in support of achieving KPI’s and team objectives.

What You Bring

• High School Diploma, bachelor’s degree preferred in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Technology or Business Administration. A combination of education and experience will be considered.
• Willing to work 10:00pm - 6:00am Sunday - Thursday with occasional additional support where needed as the business grows.
• 3+ years’ experience in leadership and lean continuous improvement processes in a manufacturing environment.
• Leadership and a collaborative spirit that inspire and engage teams to achieve excellence.
• Ability to solve problems and prioritize daily tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent computer skills to include MS365 and SAP or ERP software.
