Job summary

Phillips-Medisize, a Molex Company, seeks a Production Supervisor for our New Richmond, WI facility. You will lead production staff, drive continuous improvement, and coordinate with multiple software platforms including SAP and Kronos.

The role operates on a 5pm-5am rotating schedule and emphasizes safety and efficiency. Ideal candidates have 2+ years in manufacturing and 2+ years of supervisory experience, with an associate degree or higher in business or manufacturing.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a manufacturing environment.
• 2+ years of supervisorial experience.
• Experience working in an ERP system (SAP).
• Associate degree or higher in business or manufacturing related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Provide direction and leadership to production staff, including people management, hiring, and career development.
• Ensure the team is aligned with and accomplishing goals and objectives.
• Plan and delegate work in advance and deploy administrative tasks with standardized tools.
• Drive and promote Operational Excellence Principles for Leader standard of Work and 6s processes.
• Communicate information to direct reports and pass information up the management chain while maintaining confidentiality.
• Monitor machinery, processes, tools and work cell layouts to identify improvements for safety, quality, and profitability.
• Promote continuous improvement and timely completion of corrective actions.
• Work with multiple software platforms (Microsoft Office, SAP, Kronos, MyHR, etc.).

What You Will Do

• Provide direction and leadership to production staff, including people management as follows: managing performance; addressing disciplinary issues; hiring; assisting people with career development
• Ensuring team is aligned with and accomplishing goals and objectives
• Demonstrate leadership ability and foresight to plan and delegate work in advance. Embrace standardized tools and effectively deploy administrative tasks
• Drive, promote and influence Operational Excellence Principles for Leader standard of Work and 6s processes
• Effectively communicate information to direct reports and pass information up the management chain, while maintaining trust and confidentiality
• Consistently monitor machinery, processes, tools and work cell layouts in order to recommend improvements that yield increases in profit and quality levels and decreases potential safety hazards
• Promote continuous improvement involvement along with timely completion of all corrective actions assigned
• Working with multiple software platforms (Microsoft Office, SAP, Kronos, MyHR, etc.)

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

• 2+ years of experience working in a manufacturing environment
