StaffBright is seeking an experienced and results-driven 2nd Shift Production Supervisor to join the team of one of our valued clients. This full-time, on-site role is responsible for overseeing production operations during the second shift, ensuring optimal workflow, adherence to safety and quality standards, and achievement of production goals. The ideal candidate will bring proven supervisory experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment, strong leadership and problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to continuous improvement. What You Will Be Doing

• Lead, train, and develop production staff, fostering a high-performance team environment through coaching, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Supervise daily 2nd shift operations to ensure quality standards, production efficiency, and adherence to safety protocols are consistently met.
• Drive performance in key areas such as labor utilization, scrap reduction, and throughput by monitoring metrics and implementing process improvements.
• Support and mentor team leaders and line leaders, ensuring alignment with production cadence and operational goals through proactive communication and guidance.

What We Need From You

• 3+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment, ideally within assembly operations. Automotive industry experience is preferred, but candidates from OEMs, Tier 1 or Tier 2 suppliers, or other industrial sectors will be considered.
• Proven leadership and conflict management skills, with the ability to lead diverse teams effectively and navigate challenging personnel situations with professionalism.
• Hands-on experience with Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies, including tools such as 5-Why, Fishbone Diagrams, TPM, and 5S.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive mindset and a commitment to maintaining high safety, quality, and productivity standards on the floor.
• Proficiency with ERP systems for tracking production, managing labor and materials, and ensuring real-time visibility into operations.
