Job description

Le Belge Chocolatier is a boutique chocolatier in the heart of Napa Valley, crafting distinctive confections from fine Belgian chocolate and locally inspired ingredients. Our chocolates appear in specialty retailers, luxury hotels, airlines, and cruise lines, and we take pride in making every piece as beautiful as it is delicious.

We're looking for an experienced Chocolate Production Supervisor who loves the craft as much as the people behind it. You'll lead our production floor, drive quality and efficiency, and help develop the next generation of Le Belge products.

This is a full-time permanent role that is located in Napa Valley and is Onsite.

  • Run daily production. Plan schedules, staffing, and workflow around customer orders, capacity, and inventory to keep production safe, consistent, and on time.
  • Oversee the craft. Supervise tempering, molding, enrobing, decorating, customization, and other confectionery processes to our exacting standards.
  • Innovate. Develop and test new products, recipes, fillings, and inclusions, taking ideas from concept to commercially viable, repeatable products.
  • Master the machinery. Set up, operate, adjust, and troubleshoot automated and semi-automated chocolate equipment.
  • Drive continuous improvement. Solve problems at the root, reduce waste and cost, and raise the bar on quality and efficiency.
  • Champion safety. Ensure food-safety, sanitation, and workplace-safety standards are followed every day.
