Job summary

Barry Callebaut is seeking a Production Lead to coordinate daily shift operations in American Canyon, CA. You will oversee a team, troubleshoot issues, and ensure safety, quality, and timely output in a fast-paced chocolate manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate brings 3+ years in food production, proficiency with Excel and SAP, and a proven ability to coach staff, enforce GMP/HACCP, and cross-train across molding and chocolate production.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of production manufacturing experience, ideally in the Food Manufacturing industry.
• Excel and SAP proficiency.
• Excellent problem solving skills.
• Ability to lift at least 25 Kg (50 Lbs.) and work overtime/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily shift operations and oversee production staff.
• Improve equipment operation, training, organization and safety compliance.
• Ensure completion of all shift paperwork and GMP/HACCP standards.
• Coach team members and conduct shift meetings.
• Cross-train to work in molding and chocolate production areas.
• Audit shift performance and monitor quality.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment.
