Operations Management Support

This position is responsible for ensuring all procedures are followed to achieve the highest productivity levels in a cost-efficient manner while maintaining customer specifications. The role also involves ensuring all reporting requirements are met for the area of supervision.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Train employees and foster an environment that enables them to achieve maximum quality and productivity performance in their respective roles.
• Plan and schedule manpower, materials, products, and machines to utilize departmental policies and procedures effectively and efficiently, maintaining safety, quality, and employee satisfaction standards.
• Manage employee performance, providing positive and corrective feedback as needed.
• Promote department and company goodwill through proactive communication and employee involvement.
• Collaborate with other departments to investigate areas of quality improvement, cost reduction, method improvement, yield control, and equipment maintenance, and provide suggestions.
• Promote safety throughout the work area.

BASIC SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

• One or more years of previous supervisory experience.
• Poultry or food industry experience is a plus.
• Leadership experience managing 20 or more employees.
• Effective communication skills, both oral and written.
• Ability to make independent decisions.
