How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

The Production Supervisor supervises the day-to-day activities within a segment of the industrial, specialty, and medical distribution and gas filling operations at a production location. This role involves managing gas cylinder processing, ultrasonic testing, and ensuring compliance with FDA, DOT, OSHA, EPA, SAFECORE, and other relevant regulations.

In particular, you will:

1. Supervise the activities of 2 or more plant production associates.
2. Collaborate with other Plant Supervisors to ensure smooth operations.
3. Promote a safety and compliance culture, addressing unsafe acts promptly.
4. Assign tasks based on customer needs, stock levels, and worker expertise.
5. Review production schedules and estimate worker-hour requirements; maintain records.
6. Interpret and enforce safety regulations and company policies.
7. Implement improvements to production methods, equipment, and working conditions to enhance efficiency.
8. Assist workers in resolving work problems.
9. Make recommendations regarding hiring, promotions, transfers, and disciplinary actions.
10. Train new and cross-train employees to ensure continuous production.
11. Assist in planning and managing capital investments.
12. Manage inventory levels of supplies and equipment.
13. Perform additional duties and projects as assigned.

Are you a MATCH?

1. High School Diploma or GED.
2. At least 2 years of leadership experience in a distribution environment, preferably with technical knowledge of gases.
3. Experience with SAP preferred.
4. Proficiency in Google Suite and Microsoft Office.
5. Strong analytical skills and ability to use metrics for improvement.
6. Excellent communication skills.
7. Basic math skills, including understanding of units of measure, rates, ratios, and percentages.
8. Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently.
9. Attention to detail for compliance documentation.
10. Dedication to quality and customer satisfaction.
11. Physical ability to perform job duties, including lifting up to 60 pounds regularly and 125 pounds with assistance.
12. Ability to work in various environmental conditions, including outdoor weather and noisy or odorous environments.
