Warehouse Production Supervisor

Job Purpose

W e are currently seeking a Warehouse Production Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of the production floor. This role ensures that all production targets are met efficiently and effectively, maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and productivity. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a keen eye for process improvement, and the ability to manage a diverse team in a fast-paced environment.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Operational Management:
  • Oversee daily warehouse production activities to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
  • Coordinate workflow and manage production schedules to meet targets and deadlines.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the procurement team to ensure materials are available as needed.
• Team Leadership:
  • Lead, motivate, and develop a team of warehouse associates, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive work environment, promoting teamwork and collaboration.
  • Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, expectations, and updates.
• Safety and Compliance:
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and company policies.
  • Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
  • Provide training and guidance on safety procedures and best practices.
• Quality Control:
  • Implement and monitor quality control processes to ensure products meet company standards.
  • Address and resolve any production issues or discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Maintain accurate records of production output and quality metrics.
• Process Improvement:
  • Identify areas for process improvements and implement strategies to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Utilize lean manufacturing principles and other methodologies to optimize production workflows.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline operations and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Reporting and Analysis:
  • Prepare and present regular reports on production performance, including key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Analyze production data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop and manage budgets for production operations, ensuring cost-effectiveness.

Qualifications & Experience

• 5+ years of experience in warehouse or production management
• Proven track record of managing a high-performing production team in a fast-paced environment
• Bachelors degree/diploma in business, operations management, supply chain management or related field preferred
• Proficient in the use of computers and Microsoft office products
• Experience with SAP is preferred
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices
