Job summary

Commercial Metals Company seeks a production supervisor to lead daily operations in our precast concrete manufacturing facilities. You will guide teams to meet safety, quality, and productivity targets while coordinating with maintenance for equipment reliability.

The role emphasizes strong leadership, clear communication, and hands-on management of a fast-paced plant environment. Applicants should have a High School Diploma or GED and relevant supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise daily production operations to ensure safe, efficient manufacture of precast concrete products.
• Monitor production performance and implement improvements to meet productivity, quality, and safety goals.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and development to production employees.
• Maintain a safe work environment and ensure compliance with company policies and safety procedures.
• Coordinate with maintenance teams to support equipment reliability and preventive maintenance.

What You'll Do

• Monitor labor utilization, overtime, and operating efficiency.
• Identify and resolve production issues while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain high standards of workplace organization, housekeeping, and quality.

What You'll Need

• Supervisory experience in a manufacturing, construction, precast concrete, or industrial environment.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, production planning, and industrial equipment.
• Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and operational excellence.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and perform physical job duties as needed.
• Knowledge of concrete mix design, batching operations, and industrial maintenance preferred.
• ACI certification preferred, or willingness to obtain certification.
