Position: Night Shift Production Supervisor

As a Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing production shift employees and ensuring safety, quality, and quantity standards are met.

Major Responsibilities

1. Oversee production operations, daily workflows, and prepare work schedules to ensure efficient operations while following work instructions.
2. Conduct performance reviews, hiring, and initiate disciplinary action.
3. Maintain knowledge of processes and equipment.
4. Ensure products are identified, weighed, and warehoused correctly.
5. Troubleshoot issues as they arise and notify maintenance department of equipment problems.
6. Ensure employees comply with applicable safety regulations, policies, and procedures.
7. Ensure paperwork is complete and accurate.
8. Maintain 5S standards.
9. Create purchase requisitions for needed materials.

Skills Required

1. High school Diploma or GED
2. Must have at least 3 years of manufacturing supervisory experience to include experience leading continuous improvement activities.
3. Proficient with MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook), ERP/MRP, and IQMS.
4. Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
5. Excellent oral and written communication.
6. Thorough understanding of or the ability to quickly learn production operations and machinery.
7. Strong leadership skills with ability to prioritize and delegate when appropriate.

Schedule: Overnight, 12-hour shifts, 2-2-3 Schedule.
