Job description

Supervise all phases of store production operations to ensure goals are met safely and efficiently.

Responsible for monitoring all store production functions to conform to company policies, ensuring safe and environmentally compliant store operations while adhering to administrative policies and procedures.

Essential Functions:
  1. Partner with the Environmental Health and Safety Team to ensure store compliance with safety and environmental policies. Promote a clean, safe, and environmentally compliant environment for employees and customers.
  2. Oversee store housekeeping and the proper care and maintenance of all equipment, including reporting issues and adhering to preventative maintenance programs.
  3. Collaborate with sales and production personnel to improve store results and implement company strategies.
  4. Participate in hiring, training, delegating, and scheduling personnel.
  5. Monitor and evaluate job performance; train and develop staff.
  6. Communicate and enforce policies and procedures; lead by example.
  7. Assist in customer care functions as needed.
  8. Participate in production duties when required.
  9. Ensure production activities meet goals through active monitoring.
  10. Work with internal support resources to ensure legal compliance and achieve results.
  11. Spend at least 85% of time working directly with the production team.
  12. Perform other duties as assigned.
Physical Activities:
  • Stand, walk, bend, climb, and stretch for extended periods.
  • Handle tools with manual dexterity and move up to 50 pounds.
  • Maintain sufficient vision to perform job functions safely.
Supervisory Responsibilities:

Supervise and direct non-exempt hourly employees, including their selection, training, development, appraisal, and work assignments.

Job Conditions:
  • Regular exposure to outdoor weather conditions.
  • Periodic exposure to minimal chemical hazards.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with an outgoing, friendly, positive attitude.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently with minimal supervision.
  • Certification in production equipment operation preferred.
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
  • Availability to work weekends and holidays as required.
  • Previous supervisory experience in production, construction, or operations preferred.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred but not required.
  • Experience in scheduling employees in a production environment preferred.
  • Experience in the automotive field is a plus but not required.
