Easy Foods Inc. in Kissimmee, FL is seeking a Night Shift Production Supervisor to lead a on-site team in a fast-paced food production environment. You will drive safety, quality, and efficiency KPIs while guiding associates through training, coaching, and development.

Ideal candidates hold an undergraduate degree or equivalent, with 2+ years in production and leadership, plus GMP/SQF familiarity. Experience with SAP and ADP is preferred, along with Lean/TPM awareness.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree or equivalent; technical/engineering or business background preferred.
• Two years’ experience in a production environment.
• Two years’ experience in a leadership role.
• GMP and SQF working knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Supervise team on shift to convert materials into quality products safely, within specifications and KPI targets.
• Recommend and implement changes in methods, equipment, systems and organization to meet line objectives.
• Manage associate relations, recruitment, training and development with minimal guidance from the Shift Manager.
• Meet line performance standards, measure results, take corrective action and report.
• Troubleshoot and perform root cause analysis using shift resources to improve performance.
• Ensure open communications and broaden scope and responsibility of Operations teams.
• Assist in Production Manager and Shift Manager in implementing improvement strategies.
• Evaluate Associate performance and support development plans.
• Stay current with managerial/technical competencies within Easy Foods.
• Support TPM/Lean manufacturing initiatives and maintain equipment knowledge.
• Coach associates to achieve proven results.

Easy Foods invested in a state-of-the-art facility in Central Florida and equipped it with the industry’s most advanced machinery, complete with automatic rejection systems. Our facility also features an in-house R&D lab, and a test kitchen.
We expanded our capabilities to include private label manufacturing, co-packing, customized branding, and sales and marketing support. We started out in this industry knowing that producing deliciously authentic tortillas, wraps, and corn chips on a consistent basis did not have to be so difficult. About the Role

Easy Foods is looking for a Night shift Production Supervisor to join and help our Business to Thrive!

Principal Accountabilities:

• Supervise the efforts of their team on shift, to ensure the efficient conversion of materials into quality products in a safe, secure and sanitary manner within the product design specifications, while also meeting strict efficiency targets and KPI’s
• Change Agent - Recommend and implement changes in methods, equipment, systems and organization, as needed, to assure that the objectives of the line/area are met.
• Associate Advocacy - Manage associate relations issues and guide and direct the hiring, training, retraining, development and motivation of Operations associates following self-managed, team working principles with a minimum degree of guidance from the Shift Manager.
• Goal Setting and Measurement - Meet line/area performance standards and goals, and measure, control, take corrective action and report results as appropriate.
• Troubleshooting and Root Cause Analysis – The Supervisor utilizes the technical resources on shift for the preventive maintenance, repair and troubleshooting of process/packaging equipment problems, with the objective of effectively using these resources to achieve desired performance levels and continuously improving their own knowledge of equipment and process. The supervisor is expected to become an Area Expert regarding all processes and all equipment under their supervision.
• Communications - Ensure that open communications are established and that opportunities to broaden the scope and responsibility of Operations teams/associates are undertaken.
• Operations Strategy - Participate with the Production Manager and Shift Manager in the implementation of improvement strategies that will help the line/area perform more effectively in the near term.
• Associate Development - Evaluate Associate performance and develop, in conjunction with associate's plans, to challenge their potential.
• Personal Development - Keep abreast of the managerial and technical competencies, both within and outside Easy Foods.
• Lean Manufacturing - TPM - Total Productive Maintenance
• Proven track record of coaching associates

Minimum Qualifications:

• An undergraduate degree or equivalent, preferably in one of the Engineering, basic sciences or business-related disciplines preferred, or equivalent experience.
• Two (2) years’ experience in a production environment.
• Two (2) years’ experience in a leadership role.
• Working knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and SQF.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Demonstrated experience working with and leading large teams within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated experience working with SAP, ADP
• Demonstrated experience within Lean/TPM/Continuous Improvement
• Minimum one (1) year experience in a food production environment.
• Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt or Higher
• Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheets, Reports, Internet software, e-mail.
• Ability to work any shift as needed.
• Functional knowledge and understanding of HACCP concepts.
• Experience in plant sanitation practices and procedures.
