Job description

Our client, a prominent leader in the concrete manufacturing industry specializing in high-quality concrete products, is seeking a dedicated and dynamic Production Supervisor to join their expanding team. This role is critical in managing daily operations within the production department, with a focus on shipping, receiving, and quality control processes.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Oversee shipping and receiving operations to ensure timely and accurate material flow aligning with production schedules.
2. Manage quality control processes, including testing and inspections to meet product standards.
3. Support machine operations and assist with preventative maintenance planning in coordination with the production team.
4. Develop and train hourly staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
5. Track and report inventory levels, ensuring optimal stock management and replenishment.
6. Coordinate equipment repairs and shutdowns, working closely with maintenance teams to minimize downtime.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required; a bachelor’s degree in a STEM field is strongly preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing, with exposure to shipping, receiving, or production coordination preferred.
• Strong leadership skills with experience managing and motivating teams.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Drive for reporting and scheduling.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to continuous improvement.
• Valid driver’s license required.
