ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Supervise and coordinate activities of production staff to ensure efficient operations.
- Collaborate with Department Managers to implement and evaluate practices aimed at continuous improvement.
- Analyze equipment-related issues and facilitate communication between maintenance and other staff.
- Inspect incoming and outgoing goods to ensure quality and accuracy standards are met.
- Monitor inventories of packaging, ingredients, and finished products to meet production needs.
- Enforce sanitation procedures and verify compliance.
- Ensure adherence to Plant GMP Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Conduct sensory testing on finished products.
- Document activities in accordance with SOPs and regulatory guidelines.
- Oversee training and evaluation of new staff members.
- Manage scheduling and cover staff vacancies as needed per SOP.
- Communicate effectively with all levels of management and other departments.
BASIC REQUIREMENTS:
- A bachelor’s degree in Business, Science, Engineering, or any related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of operational leadership experience in food manufacturing.
- Experience in the dairy industry is preferred
- Must know Clean-In-Place (CIP) and Clean-Out-of-Place (COP) procedures.
- Experience in writing and developing SOPs.
- Background in food or beverage sanitation.
- Familiarity with High-Temperature Short-Time (HTST) processing.
