Job summary

MasterBrand Cabinets LLC is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee shop floor operations and ensure timely, safe, and quality production. You will supervise multiple lines, mentor staff, and align with SOPs to optimize productivity and reduce waste.

The role requires 3+ years in manufacturing supervision, strong communication, math skills, and a willingness to work extended hours as needed. MasterBrand values safety and continuous improvement across the plant.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or associate degree or trade, vocation or career schooling a plus.
• 3+ years of supervisor experience in manufacturing.
• Quality experience a plus.
• Bilingual a plus.
• Proficiency in basic math skills.

Responsibilities

• Effectively work and communicate with a team to continuously improve quality, safety, efficiency, and productivity.
• Oversee production lines, review downtime causes and assist in troubleshooting and problem solving.
• Create, maintain and audit Standard Work to ensure process consistency and efficiency.
• Develop, mentor and manage manufacturing personnel, ensuring they are properly trained to utilize equipment and tools effectively.
• Supervise up to 30+ production hourly employees.
• Review, adjust and approve timesheets and adjust workforce based on workload.
• Promote and maintain clean, safe work area throughout the plant by proactively identifying hazards.
• Follow company policy and procedures (safety, quality, productivity, discipline, order, HR, continuous improvement).
• Lead production employees in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
• Some extended hours & weekends as necessary
• Support additional lines, as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned

Job Description: The Production Supervisor may supervise one or more areas of the shop floor to support the manufacturing, loading and shipping of all orders to meet and exceed the customers quality and delivery expectations, while maintaining established safety and cost standards. The Production Supervisor must understand and support all plant safety procedures and ensure all operators follow Standard Operating Procedures.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or associate degree or trade, vocation or career schooling a plus
• Must have high school or GED diploma
• 3+ years of supervisor experience in manufacturing
• Quality experience a plus
• Bilingual a plus
• Proficiency in basic math skills
• Excellent communicator, both verbally and written
• Knowledge of machinery and packaging equipment a plus
• Good decision-making skills
• 6-S & Lean Manufacturing experience a plus
• Proficiency using Microsoft Office
