Job Summary

The Production Supervisor oversees daily safety, people development, production, and manufacturing within extrusion and converting operations. Responsibilities include ensuring policies and procedures are followed, maximizing safety, quality, and productivity, and building strong relationships with employees, customer service, and sales teams.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities

• Promote a safe work culture and ensure compliance with safety and environmental policies.
• Supervise team members directly and ensure adequate training on production equipment.
• Support, train, and evaluate team performance.
• Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively.
• Troubleshoot machinery and processing techniques.
• Ensure quality standards are met and assist other departments as needed.
• Prioritize multiple projects and work in a professional, multicultural environment.
• Monitor production schedules and analyze operational data.
• Implement continuous improvements in safety, quality, and productivity.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years supervisory experience in manufacturing.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook; knowledge of Word, PowerPoint, Access preferred.
• SAP experience is a plus.

Training

On-site orientation and training will be provided.

Working Conditions

Production environment requiring PPE.

Physical Requirements

• Long periods of standing.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
