Shift: Night Shift (7pm–7am, 2-week rotation)


About the Role

Our client is a growing food manufacturing facility in Michigan is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee night shift operations. This role will manage a small team in a plant environment, ensuring production goals are achieved while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and compliance.



This is an excellent opportunity for a supervisor looking to advance their career in food & beverage manufacturing.


Key Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop production employees to achieve daily targets.


• Oversee production processes, ensuring compliance with safety, sanitation, and quality standards.


• Monitor equipment efficiency and coordinate timely repairs.


• Manage production scheduling, material staging, and shift communications.


• Drive continuous improvement to boost productivity and reduce costs.


• Partner with HR and management to resolve employee concerns and apply policies consistently.


Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.


• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing, ideally in food, beverage, or dairy production.


• 5+ years of proven leadership or supervisory experience (team lead, shift lead, or supervisor).


• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, safety, and continuous improvement practices.


• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to learn production systems.


• Excellent communication and people leadership skills.
