Qualifications

• Experience applying Lean/Six Sigma to improve efficiency and reduce scrap.
• Ability to train, lead and schedule a production team.
• Knowledge of quality control practices and KPIs.
• Proficiency with computer applications to track metrics and inventory.

PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Production Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have: 2-5 years of industrial leadership experience, education in manufacturing technology or business management and be proficient in lean/continuous improvement methods.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma, additional technical certificates - degrees preferred.
• 2-5 years related supervisory experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Ability to effectively lead, train and schedule production team.
• Deep understanding and commitment to continuous improvement, utilizing Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, etc. to improve efficiency, optimize workflows and minimize scrap.
• Basic knowledge of quality control practices and principles.
• Manage effective and accurate work instructions and tool set-up data.
• Ability to troubleshoot machinery issues and manage corrective actions.
• Proficiency with computer applications necessary to track production metrics, inventory and KPIs.
• Ensure a clean, efficient and safe work environment at all times.
• Flexible work schedule depending on production requirements.
• Effectively work with other departments to ensure smooth operations.
