Job summary

LHH is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to lead daily manufacturing operations in Ocala, Florida, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time production goals while upholding the company’s standards.

You will supervise hourly production staff, coordinate workflow, monitor metrics, implement corrective actions, and partner with Maintenance, Quality, Engineering, and Operations to drive continuous improvement and a proactive, team-oriented culture.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing or production leadership role.
• Experience supervising hourly production employees.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, safety standards, and quality requirements.
• Ability to read and interpret production schedules, work instructions, and technical documentation.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, coach, and develop production team members to achieve daily production goals.
• Manage daily manufacturing operations, including scheduling, staffing, workflow, and production priorities.
• Monitor production output, quality standards, safety compliance, and efficiency metrics.
• Identify and resolve production issues while implementing corrective actions.
• Ensure employees follow company policies, safety procedures, and quality requirements.
• Train new employees on processes, equipment operation, and safety procedures.
• Collaborate with Maintenance, Quality, Engineering, and Operations teams to improve processes.
• Review production reports, track key performance indicators, and communicate updates to leadership.
• Support continuous improvement efforts to increase productivity, reduce waste, and improve overall efficiency.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe production environment.
