Job Responsibilities
- Trains and monitors operators and plant for safe work practices, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Provides training and development for operators in procedures related to the process area and company operations.
- Leads, motivates, and manages team building, morale, and discipline among department operators.
- Manages time effectively for both workforce and machinery.
- Monitors testing and inspection activities by operators to maintain quality standards.
- Accurately documents and reports on material, machine, and workforce output and consumption, including reviewing time clock and leave records.
- Conducts annual reviews and performance evaluations for operator development and compensation adjustments.
- Strives to meet company goals and continuously improve processes.
- Maintains a valid forklift license as issued by Mitsubishi.
- Performs other duties as assigned by the department manager.
Qualifications
- High school diploma required.
- At least 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment required.
- Supervisory experience in manufacturing required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Good command of English language, with ability to write and edit work-related documents.
- Experience in public speaking for training purposes.
Pay and Benefits
- Salary range: $73,050 - $91,312, influenced by experience, education, skills, and market factors.
