We are seeking a dedicatedProduction Supervisor to lead and manage our Production team at our Carlsbad location. This role ensures operational efficiency, maintains product quality, and fosters a safe and productive work environment. As a Production Supervisor you will be responsible foroverseeing all aspects of the department’s workflow, including maintaining cleanliness and organization, ensuring accuracy in Epicor data entry, and ensuring timely assembly, packaging, and shipment of sales orders.

What You Will Do:

• Recruit, interview, hire, and train new staff in the facility
• Oversee the daily workflow of the facility
• Ensure that employees maintain a clean and organized work area
• Verify that all data entered into Epicor is correct, (labor, non-conformances, inventory quantities and inventory locations)
• Ensure employees complete their tasks assigned for the day
• Provide constructive and timely performance evaluations
• Handle discipline of employees in accordance with company policy
• Identifies, investigates, and resolves delays in shift operations, ensuring production targets are met
• Inform Planning, management, and other stakeholders of delays or issues
• Collaborate with department managers and supervisors to coordinate production and day-to-day activities in and among departments
• Collect, evaluate, analyze, and assess production data to create a culture of continuous improvement
• Receive and inspect WIP and Inventory from the other locations
• Review work queues and priorities to ensure that staff have everything they need to complete their tasks
• Collaborate with production, planning, and scheduling teams to ensure timely production

Do You Have:

• Bachelor’s degree in management, engineering, business or related field, or equivalent industry work experience and education.
• Minimum of five years of production and supervisory experience.
• Minimum of one year of experience using Epicor software.
• Excellent team management and leadership skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
• Thorough understanding of operations policies and practices.
