Location: Irvine, CA

Position Summary

A food manufacturing company is seeking a hands-on and proactive Production Supervisor to oversee and coordinate the daily production activities. The ideal candidate will be bilingual in English and Spanish (or Japanese language skills as a plus), and will have strong communication, organizational, and basic computer skills.

Qualifications

• Bilingual: English and Spanish required, Japanese preferred
• At least 2–3 years of previous experience in a (food) manufacturing environment in a supervisory or team lead role
• Comfortable using Microsoft Excel and general computer operations
• Ability to perform basic data entry (Advanced Excel functions like VLOOKUP or PivotTables are a plus, but not required)
• Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail
• Ability to provide clear directions and instructions to team members
• Prior supervisory or team lead experience in manufacturing or production
• Ability to deal with flexible work schedule: ex. troubleshooting, weekends, etc.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and adjust daily production schedules to meet operational goals
• Maintain a safe, sanitary, and efficient production environment
• Ensure all production paperwork and logs are completed accurately and in compliance with SQF (Safe Quality Food) standards
• Monitor and manage the entire production workflow, ensuring smooth operations
• Train and retrain employees on processes, procedures, and safety standards
• Facilitate effective communication between shifts and departments
• Assist with equipment troubleshooting and adapt quickly to changing production needs
  
  

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs occasionally

Ability to stand and walk for 70–80% of the shift (once acclimated to some office tasks)
