We are partnering with a growing food manufacturing organization to hire a Night Shift Production Supervisor to oversee overnight operations in a temperature-controlled facility. This hands‑on leader will drive production performance, ensure safety and quality standards, and lead frontline teams while operating independently during off‑hours.

Description

Operations & Leadership

• Oversee nightly production activities across multiple lines
• Provide hands‑on leadership, coaching, and real‑time problem‑solving
• Allocate labor and manage staffing levels to support production goals

Safety & Compliance

• Enforce all safety, GMP, and food safety standards
• Conduct regular safety checks and ensure PPE compliance
• Support training and maintain proper documentation

Production Performance

• Execute production schedules to achieve output, quality, and efficiency targets
• Monitor line performance and address bottlenecks as they arise
• Ensure product specifications and labeling accuracy meet customer requirements

Continuous Improvement

• Identify opportunities to improve processes and labor utilization
• Support lean initiatives and operational improvements
• Communicate key updates and shift summaries to leadership

Team Development

• Lead and develop production staff, fostering accountability and engagement
• Address performance issues and support ongoing training efforts
• Promote a positive and productive team environment

Cross‑Functional Coordination

• Work closely with Quality, Maintenance, and Warehouse teams
• Coordinate equipment troubleshooting to minimize downtime
• Report nightly performance metrics and issues to plant leadership

Profile

• 3+ years of supervisory experience in manufacturing or production
• Experience in refrigerated or food production environments strongly preferred

• Bilingual English/Spanish required
• Experience with ERP or production systems preferred
• Ability to work independently and make decisions during overnight shifts
