Job summary

Kärcher is seeking a Production Manager in Colorado to lead planning and execution of production operations. The role focuses on scheduling, resource allocation, and ensuring safety and quality across the plant.

You will oversee a team, drive improvements in efficiency, and coordinate with cross-functional areas to meet customer deadlines. A strong background in production management and people leadership is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 3+ years of related experience.

• Clear communication and team-building abilities.

Responsibilities

• Review production orders and schedules to plan department operations and delivery timelines.
• Plan departmental priorities and sequencing for timely completion of products.
• Coordinate assembly activities to ensure production and quality meet specifications.
• Review reports and resolve operational and maintenance issues to minimize costs and delays.
• Inspect machines and equipment to ensure performance and utilization.
• Develop or revise standard operating procedures and enforce adherence.
• Train department staff on safety and KPS policies.
• Assist Production Manager with continuous improvement initiatives.
• Interface with other departments to meet customer deadlines.

Job description

The salary range for this position is $75,000.00– $90,000.00 DOE including bonus opportunity under the Karcher Incentive Program.

This Is How You WOW

• Review production orders and schedules to ascertain product data such as types, quantities, and specifications of products and scheduled delivery dates to plan department operations.
• Plan department operations, establishing priorities and sequences for completing products.
• Prepare operational schedules and coordinate assembly activities to ensure production and quality of products meet specifications.
• Review operating reports and resolve operational and maintenance problems to ensure minimum costs and prevent operational delays.
• Inspect machines and equipment to ensure specific operational performance and optimum utilization.
• Develop or revise standard operational and working practices and observe workers to ensure compliance with standards.
• Work with Human Resources in resolving grievances.
• Compile, store, and retrieve necessary data.
• Track employee attendance and review weekly schedules.
• Track daily part shortages.
• Attend all required plant meetings.
• Maintain adherence to company policies, safety standards, and good housekeeping practices.
• Assure efficient and economical utilization of materials, improvement of methods, and elimination of wasteful practices within the department.
• Establish accountability and goals used for performance evaluations for each employee.
• Responsible for the on-the-job training, including safety and KPS, of all employees in the department.
• Assist Production Manager with continuous improvement initiatives.
• Interface with other departments to ensure customer order deadlines are met.
• Recommend measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product.
• Suggest changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of shop, department, or team
• May be required to lock down plant when instructed.

• Excellent attendance and punctuality required.
