Job summary

Alfred Kärcher SE & Co. KG in Aurora, CO is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee daily operations, manage schedules, and drive continuous improvement. You will coordinate assembly, monitor quality, and ensure safety and efficiency while meeting deadlines and budgets.

Responsibilities

  • Review production orders and schedules to plan department operations.
  • Plan department operations, establishing priorities and sequences for completing products.
  • Prepare schedules and coordinate assembly activities to meet specifications.
  • Review reports and resolve operational and maintenance issues to minimize costs and delays.
  • Inspect machines and equipment to ensure performance and utilization.
  • Develop or revise standard operating procedures and ensure compliance.
  • Train and guide employees on safety and KPS standards.

Job description

The salary range for this position is $75,000.00– $90,000.00 DOE including bonus opportunity under the Karcher Incentive Program.

The deadline to submit applications is initially set for Monday October 5th, 2026. However, the application period is subject to potential extensions or closure at any time without prior notice, especially once a sufficient pool of qualified applicants has been obtained.

This is how you WOW:

  • Review production orders and schedules to ascertain product data such as types, quantities, and specifications of products and scheduled delivery dates to plan department operations.
  • Plan department operations, establishing priorities and sequences for completing products.
  • Prepare operational schedules and coordinate assembly activities to ensure production and quality of products meet specifications.
  • Review operating reports and resolve operational and maintenance problems to ensure minimum costs and prevent operational delays.
  • Inspect machines and equipment to ensure specific operational performance and optimum utilization.
  • Develop or revise standard operational and working practices and observe workers to ensure compliance with standards.
  • Work with Human Resources in resolving grievances.
  • Compile, store, and retrieve necessary data.
  • Track employee attendance and review weekly schedules.
  • Track daily part shortages.
  • Attend all required plant meetings.
  • Maintain adherence to company policies, safety standards, and good housekeeping practices.
  • Assure efficient and economical utilization of materials, improvement of methods, and elimination of wasteful practices within the department.
  • Establish accountability and goals used for performance evaluations for each employee.
  • Responsible for the on-the-job training, including safety and KPS, of all employees in the department.
  • Assist Production Manager with continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Interface with other departments to ensure customer order deadlines are met.
  • Recommend measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product.
  • Suggest changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of shop, department, or team
  • May be required to lock down plant when instructed.
