Position: Production Supervisor

Job Summary

The Production Supervisor oversees daily operations related to safety, people development, and manufacturing within extrusion and converting processes. They ensure policies and procedures are followed, lead initiatives to maximize safety, quality, and productivity, and foster strong relationships with plant employees, customer service, and sales teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Promote a safe work environment, ensuring compliance with all safety and environmental policies.
• Supervise and train team members adequately on all production equipment.
• Support, evaluate, and develop team performance.
• Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively.
• Troubleshoot processing and machinery issues.
• Ensure quality standards are met.
• Assist other departments as needed.
• Prioritize multiple projects efficiently.
• Communicate effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
• Monitor and evaluate production schedules and equipment performance.
• Implement continuous improvements in safety, quality, and productivity.
• Work overtime as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook; knowledge of Word, PowerPoint, Access preferred.
• SAP experience is a plus.

Training

On-site orientation and training will be provided.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

• Work in a production environment requiring PPE.
• Long periods of standing and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
