Job summary

Prysmian Group is seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor for our Alabama facility. The role leads shop floor teams, enforces safety and quality standards, and coordinates between logistics and maintenance to meet production goals.

Ideal candidates bring 3–5 years of manufacturing experience with 1–3 years in supervision, strong data and KPI use, and proficiency in Excel and manufacturing systems. The position is full-time and on-site.

Qualifications

• High School/GED required.
• Associate's degree preferred in a related technical discipline.
• 3-5 years manufacturing experience required.
• 1-3 years supervisory experience required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
• Experience using production data, KPIs, reporting tools and metrics.

Brief Summary of Primary Duties:

• Communicate and administer Prysmian Group policies and procedures
• Ensure a safe work environment at all times
• Troubleshoot process and equipment issues
• Coordinate between different groups such as logistics and maintenance
• Resolve conflicts on the shop floor
• Perform necessary clerical activities such as time or record keeping
• Drive quality and cost saving initiatives

Specific Skills/Training Required

• Ability to use measuring equipment –including but not limited to OD tapes, calibers, micrometers
• Hazardous Waste Training
• First Responders Training

Education:

• High School/GED Diploma - required
• Associate's degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Engineering Technology, Manufacturing Technology, Industrial Technology, Machine Tool Technology, or a related technical discipline preferred.

Experience:

• 3-5 years manufacturing experience required
• 1-3 years supervisory experience required
• Strong computer proficiency, including Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and manufacturing systems.
• Experience utilizing production data, KPIs, reporting tools, and operational metrics to drive decision-making and continuous improvement.
• Lean manufacturing exposure preferred.

Safety Requirements/Physical Requirements:

• Safety shoes and glasses required when working in the production areas
• Hearing Protection required in posted areas
• Ability to stand 8-12 hours on concrete floors
