What you can look forward to as Production Superintendent:
- Act as a strategic member of the management team, driving continuous improvement with a strong focus on safety, quality, delivery, cost, and employee morale.
- Lead all manufacturing and assembly operations to ensure high-quality, cost-effective production through lean and continuous improvement practices.
- Plan, design, and optimize manufacturing methods and processes to meet business and customer requirements.
- Direct and supervise exempt staff and indirect support functions, leading teams of up to and exceeding 300 employees.
- Develop, coach, evaluate, and manage employee performance, including training, certifications, disciplinary actions, and career growth.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal and external customers and suppliers to achieve shared objectives.
- Ensure compliance with production systems, safety standards, ISO/QS/TS requirements, company policies, and housekeeping best practices.
- Manage departmental budgets, resources, manpower, and performance metrics aligned with the plant’s business plan and departmental goals.
Your profile as Production Superintendent:
- Bachelor’s Degree /6-8+ years of progressive experience in a professional position with a strong production interface
- 3+ years of experience in project management and/or supervisory function
- Problem solving skills/ Proven interpersonal and communication skills both verbal and written /Proven leadership skills
- Expert level knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within manufacturing/operations
- Proven ability to use and train individuals to use production/manufacturing equipment
- Advanced knowledge of plant operations management and lean principles, processes, and techniques
- Ability to prioritize and schedule daily tasks Experience in team building and team execution.
- Experience with line start up and product ramp up /Working knowledge and basic trouble shooting skills of CNC machining equipment and/or automated assembly equipment.
