Job summary

The GOEBEL FIXTURE COMPANY is seeking a Production Associate to join a team focused on manufacturing and assembling safety test original products. You will perform cutting, sewing, rope work, screen printing, measuring and material handling to meet quality standards.

This role requires physical endurance, ability to lift up to 75 pounds, and the initiative to keep work areas clean and organized while following safety and production procedures. Team collaboration is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalency.
• One year of experience in a production setting preferred.
• Capable of lifting and moving up to 75 pounds.
• Stand for long periods of time.
• Bend, walk, sit and twist.

Responsibilities

• Cutting and sewing original products with industrial sewing machines.
• Knotting and braiding various types of rope for certain products.
• Customizing products through screen printing based on customer requests.
• Measuring, tracing and cutting material with scissors or an electric saw for patterns.
• Using a grommet and rivet machine during assembly.
• Assembling plastic products with springs, pins, magnets, wired brushes, and buttons.
• Using a press machine to apply metal dyes onto leather sheets and finishing the designs.
• Maintaining a clean and organized department, sweeping, mopping, dusting and sanitizing.
• Identifying part numbers on work orders to understand what products to build.
• Monitoring and recording products on work orders to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Supporting teammates by assisting in completing products and work orders.
