Job summary

Flex in Memphis, TN is seeking a Production Specialist - Operations to support daily production activities, assist Supervisors, and maintain KPI dashboards. You will monitor productivity, quality and schedule attainment, drive waste reduction, and help with workforce readiness and training.

This role emphasizes teamwork, data analysis, and continuous improvement within a lean manufacturing environment. 6:00am-3:00pm, Monday to Friday, with sponsorship available for this position.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to analyze production data and performance trends.
• Knowledge of manufacturing KPIs, scrap control and productivity metrics.
• Knowledge of electronics assembly processes preferred.
• Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support Supervisors in daily production execution and operational activities.
• Know and support all assembly workstations and production processes.
• Monitor production KPIs including productivity, efficiency, output, quality and schedule attainment.
• Track scrap performance and support corrective actions to reduce waste.
• Support line balancing and productivity improvement initiatives.
• Assist with workforce performance monitoring and skill progression.
• Coordinate and support operator training and certification activities.
• Serve as a support resource for operators regarding processes and work instructions.
• Maintain KPI dashboards, production reports and operational summaries
