Blue Rhino is looking for a Full Time Production Specialist to join our team! Our Production Specialists play a key role in our production process. They operate in a team-based environment to ensure quality, safety, and efficiency in the refilling, re-valving, requalifying, refurbishing, packaging, and storage of propane cylinders. Every cylinder is cleaned, leak-tested, inspected, and then delivered to tens of thousands of convenience stores nationwide.

Work Environment and Requirements

• Labor intensive with frequent lifting and stacking of 40lb cylinders
• Outdoor work environment with varying temperature conditions
• Previous experience in warehouse or manufacturing preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform washer functions: placing cylinders on conveyor belt, sorting, removing sleeves, and peeling labels
• Dispatch cylinders to paint, fill, or rework stations
• Complete paint line operations: loading cylinders in tank hanger, applying paint, and unloading
• Operate shot blast, tare weight entry station, capper, and stacker
• Manually check for leaks, weight issues, or sleeve malfunctions
• Perform cylinder refurb operations based on work station
• Stack finished product
• Check for quality assurance

Qualifications

• Possess integrity and a good work ethic
• Be punctual, dependable, and reliable
• Ability to work overtime as required
• Understand basic technical instructions, both written and verbal
• Must be a citizen or lawful resident of the U.S. or authorized to work in the U.S.
• Applicants must not require future sponsorship for an employment visa
