Job summary

Microchip Technology Inc. in the United States is seeking an entry-level assembler to join our manufacturing team. You will operate microscopes and automated equipment to assemble circuit boards, following documented procedures and quality standards.

The role emphasizes independent work and teamwork in a fast-paced environment. We offer competitive pay starting at $18/hour, with benefits and a comprehensive training plan included. Onsite first shift, M-F, 7:00am-3:30pm.

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Good dexterity skills/hand-eye coordination.
• Quality and safety minded.
• Basic computer, math, and reading comprehension skills.

Responsibilities

• Use microscopes, soldering irons, hot air tools, epoxy dispensers, and small hand tools.
• Machine operations to perform automated assembly functions.
• Read and follow documents to determine proper assembly and processing procedure.
• Soldering, epoxy dispense, and assembling of components at circuit board level.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements/Qualifications:
