Job summary

Microchip Technology Inc. is seeking a manufacturing associate at our Mount Holly Springs facility. The role involves hands-on assembly using microscopes, soldering irons, and small tools on circuit boards.

You will follow documented procedures and work as part of a skilled team to meet production targets. Typical first-shift schedule is Monday to Friday, 7:00am–3:30pm, with pay starting at $18/hour and a robust benefits package.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Previous manufacturing experience preferred.
• Good dexterity and hand-eye coordination essential.
• Ability to read and follow documents precisely.

Essential Responsibilities

• Use of microscopes, soldering irons, hot air tools, epoxy dispensers, and small hand tools
• Machine operations to perform automated assembly functions
• Read and follow documents to determine proper assembly and processing procedure
• Soldering, epoxy dispense, and assembling of components at circuit board level
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements/Qualifications

Required

• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Good dexterity skills/hand-eye coordination
• Quality and safety minded
• Basic computer, math, and reading comprehension skills
• High School Diploma or GED required

Preferred But NOT Required

• Previous manufacturing experience
• Previous assembly experience

Schedule

• M-F, 7:00am-3:30pm (first shift)

• starting at $18/hour
