Job summary

US DEFAULT GROUP, INC. Plantation, Florida seeks a Production Specialist to generate and file legal documents in batches, using templates and a CMS.

You will manage multiple filing modes across several jurisdictions, ensuring timely, accurate production of lawsuits, motions and judgments. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree or higher and experience in operations, with preference for legal office or collections background.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred with related field experience.
• Experience in operations management or legal support is a plus.
• Comfort working in a high-volume, fast-paced legal environment.
• Industry experience in collections or personal injury law is advantageous.

Position Summary

Production Specialists at RAS LaVrar facilitate the generation of legal documents and file them with the courts. Individuals working in this position are responsible for operating processes which produce legal documents such as lawsuits, motions, and judgments in batches based on templates. Production Specialists are not expected to draft pleading

Responsibilities and Duties

The following responsibilities are central to the role:

• Produce legal documents in batches
• Assess the results of automations which produce documents nightly.
• Navigate the firm’s case management system (CMS).
• Assemble packages of documents both digitally and physically.
• File documents with the courts
• Navigate a complex system of e-filing and paper-filing jurisdictions across multiple states.
• Deliver physical documents to the mailroom for filing in paper-file jurisdictions.
• Submit documents for filing via online portals for filing in e-file jurisdictions.
• Identify cases which fall out of the firm’s production pipeline.
• Think criticaly to ensure cases with unique circumstances do not fall behind.
