Job summary

BioTouch in Columbus, GA is hiring a Production Specialist to assemble specimen collection kits following strict guidelines. This full-time role supports the production team across three shifts: 7:30am-3:30pm, 4:00pm-12:00am, and 11:00pm-7:00am, with pay of $16-18/hr and a weekly productivity bonus.

The job includes standing for up to 8 hours and lifting up to 50 pounds. Responsibilities include assembling kits quickly and accurately, recording daily production, inspecting quality, labeling

Our Role:
The Production Specialist is responsible for the assembly of specimen collection kits. The Production Specialist is responsible for consistently performing the tasks assigned in a fast and accurate manner. All assembly by Production Specialist will be done based on production guidelines for that kit and instruction from members of the production management team. The Production Specialist is responsible for maintaining a clean and organized work environment. The Production Specialist will assist team in all areas when requested. These are full time positions, with three shifts availableMonday through Friday 7:30am-3:30pm OR 4pm-12am OR 11pm-7am. Dependent on candidate experience, shift premium, etc. pay ranges from $16-18/hr. Weekly productivity bonus also available (please see hiring manager or local HR for further detail to qualify.) Overtime will be scheduled as needed.

Job Responsibilities

Your Impact:

• Assemble specimen collection kits in a fast and orderly manner
• Keep record of daily production and any downtime during shift
• Inspect product for quality control requirements
• Label product components with various types of identifiers
• Scan product bar codes to ensure accuracy
• Work with general packing equipment to bag, wrap, label or package materials
• Prep specimen collection materials
  • Provide training for new team members
  • Listen to team member’s feedback
  • Reports problems to Cell Lead or Production Team Lead
  • 6S Adherence including a clean and clutter free cell
  • Ensure bins are stocked from supplies within the cell
• Other duties as assigned

Required Skills & Qualifications
