Job summary

Pro Staff in Acton, MA is seeking a detail-oriented Production Specialist for a temporary 2nd shift. This role involves assembling, configuring, testing, and packaging medical device products in a highly regulated environment.

The ideal candidate will have experience in manufacturing, electronics assembly, or warehouse roles, and be able to follow written procedures in English. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods is required.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • Experience in production, assembly, or manufacturing is a plus.
  • Ability to follow written English procedures and work instructions.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble, label, test, and package medical devices and kits.
  • Configure and inspect handheld electronic devices per procedures.
  • Operate testing equipment and verify product quality.
  • Perform inventory transactions and cycle counts.
  • Maintain accurate production records and documentation.
  • Identify and report quality, safety, or process concerns.
  • Support continuous improvement with Quality, Engineering and Supply Chain teams.

Now Hiring: Production Specialist - 2nd Shift

Location: Acton, MA

Pay: $24.29/hour

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM

We are seeking a detail-oriented Production Specialist for a temporary opportunity supporting medical device manufacturing operations. This role involves product assembly, device configuration, inventory management, quality inspections, and production support in a highly regulated environment. Ideal candidates will have experience in manufacturing, assembly, production, warehouse operations, or quality control.

Job Duties
  • Assemble, label, test, and package medical device products and component kits.
  • Configure and inspect handheld electronic devices according to documented procedures.
  • Operate testing equipment and verify product quality standards.
  • Perform inventory transactions, cycle counts, stock replenishment, and inventory reconciliation.
  • Maintain accurate production records and documentation.
  • Identify and report quality, safety, or process concerns.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and collaborate with Quality, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant production environment.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • Previous production, assembly, manufacturing, electronics assembly, or warehouse experience preferred.
  • Experience in a regulated manufacturing environment is a plus.
  • Ability to distinguish red, green, and blue indicators on electronic devices.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to follow written procedures and work instructions in English.
  • Comfortable performing light mechanical assembly and repetitive tasks.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the shift.
  • Manual dexterity required for assembly, inspection, and packaging tasks.
