Job summary

KDC-ONE is seeking a production supervisor to support the Value Stream and Production Manager in driving Lean operating systems at our Sullivan, MO facility. You will plan, direct and monitor shift production, ensuring safety, quality and cost targets are met.

Responsibilities include training staff, conducting LEAN activities, 5-Why problem solving, and leading continuous improvement projects to increase throughput. A strong coaching style and commitment to safety are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement.
• Strong coaching and mentoring skills for shop floor staff.
• Familiarity with 5-Why analysis and 6S audits.

Responsibilities

• Assist Value Stream/Production Manager in leading continuous improvement initiatives.
• Plan, direct and monitor shift production to meet goals and quality targets.
• Train production staff and conduct line orientations and safety briefings.
• Perform LEAN audits and implement corrective actions.
• Drive throughput improvements with focus on safety and first time quality.
