Job summary

KDC-ONE Groveport, Ohio is seeking an experienced Off-Shift Manager to lead filling and packaging operations during off-shift hours. You will ensure production goals are achieved safely, efficiently, and with high quality while developing a high-performing team.

You will supervise, coach, and develop production staff, coordinate shift transitions, and collaborate with Production, Maintenance, Quality, and other departments to optimize scheduling and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Management, Operations Management, or related field preferred.
In lieu of a degree, at least 5 years of experience in filling and packaging manufacturing.
Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

Lead daily filling and packaging operations to meet production schedules and quality standards.
Supervise, coach, and develop production employees to build a high-performing team.
Coordinate shift transitions to maintain production continuity and equipment effectiveness.
Partner with Production, Maintenance, Quality, and other departments to optimize scheduling and operations.
Drive continuous improvement using Lean manufacturing and problem-solving tools.
Monitor safety, quality, labor efficiency, scrap, downtime, and OEE metrics.
Manage department costs including labor, overtime, inventory, and supplies.
Ensure compliance with cGMP and company policies.
