Job summary

ME Global Inc. dba ME Elecmetal in Duluth, MN is seeking a Production Shift Supervisor to coordinate daily production, ensure schedules, quality, safety, and cost control while maintaining employee morale.

You will lead hourly workers, support the planning and coordination of shipments, and oversee receipt, storage, and distribution of materials, with a focus on continuous improvement and strong leadership.

Qualifications

• Proven supervisory or management experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop hourly employees.
• Experience working in a union environment and interpreting labor agreements is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review production schedules and coordinate daily production activities.
• Maximize labor efficiency while maintaining production and quality requirements.
• Adjust workforce assignments based on production and staffing needs.
• Plan and execute production schedules while considering equipment capacity and limitations.
• Maintain appropriate production flow to meet operational objectives.
• Develop, maintain, and audit quality control standards.
• Ensure compliance with ISO standards and complete required training.
• Maintain safety by enforcing policies and conducting meetings and investigations as needed.
• Manage operations to control direct labor and material costs.
• Provide direction, coaching, and development to hourly employees.
