Job summary

Infra Pipes is seeking an Assistant Shift Supervisor to support the Foreman in overseeing production processes, equipment, and personnel on the floor. You will help ensure safety, quality, and documentation, while coordinating with other departments and enforcing SOPs.

The role includes assisting with shift schedules, changeovers, and training, with opportunities for growth in a safe, team‑oriented environment and a robust benefits package.

Qualifications

• Proficient English language skills: read and interpret safety rules, write routine reports.
• Strong reasoning ability: solve problems, adapt to variable situations, interpret instructions.
• Strong numeracy: calculate percentages, production rates, measurements.
• Ability to train and support subordinates while ensuring adherence to standards.

Responsibilities

• Learn pipe product sizes, types, and specifications.
• Understand production equipment operation.
• Read and interpret product drawings and specifications.
• Complete and ensure accuracy of production records and paperwork.
• Maintain knowledge of quality standards and correct issues.
• Train employees using established SOPs to improve efficiency.
• Assist in managing shift schedules, line changeovers, counts and specs.
• Collaborate with other departments to support production needs.
• Ensure safety and environmental standards are met.
