Job summary

Gordon Incorporated in Louisiana seeks a Foreman / Team Leader to oversee production shift employees and ensure safety, quality, and productivity standards are met on a daily basis.

You will train staff, assign workload, review performance, and coordinate with maintenance to minimize downtime while complying with policies. This on-site role requires hands-on leadership and strong communication, including reading blueprints and tape measures as part of daily operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; minimum 3 years in team leadership or supervising manufacturing.
• Strong supervisory and leadership skills; ability to train staff.
• Proficient with MS Office; able to read blueprints and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Oversees production operations on assigned shift.
• Prepares work schedules to ensure efficient operations.
• Maintains knowledge of processes and equipment.
• Ensures that products are identified, weighed, and warehoused correctly.
• Troubleshoots issues and notifies maintenance of equipment problems.
• Ensures employees comply with safety regulations and procedures.
• Ensures paperwork is completed and signed correctly.
• Reads blueprints, schematics, or similar documentation.
• Wears eye protection and PPE as required.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
