Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 3+ years in a supervisory or lead role within manufacturing, industrial, or military environments.
• 3+ years of experience in manufacturing/industrial operations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint) and ability to learn SAP and ICPAQs.
• Ability and willingness to work a 12-hour rotating shift schedule (days, nights, weekends, holidays).

Responsibilities

• Lead team members toward excellence in Environmental, Health, and Safety compliance.
• Establish commitments to Safe Quality Food culture and Good Manufacturing Practices.
• Connect team members to the overall vision and develop skills to meet department metrics.
• Collaborate with group leaders and leverage L&D to address skill gaps and build operating capability on shift.
• Collaborate with department leaders, engineers, and support functions to improve equipment/processes.
• Set shift priorities aligned with site vision and business objectives.
• Manage shift performance metrics (safety, environmental, quality, overtime, staffing to plan, OEE, waste).
• Assess hazards and risks, evaluate controls, and resolve issues; apply economic thinking to prioritize issues.
