Job summary

Electrolit Manufacturing USA Inc. in Waco, TX, is looking for an Operations Shift Lead to support the daily manufacturing floor on a 12-hour day shift (2-2-3).

The role focuses on safety, quality, and throughput, serving as the leadership point for the production team while NDA compliance is required for handling sensitive information. You will partner with the Production Supervisor, conduct floor checks, and ensure materials, changeovers, and equipment operate smoothly.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years in a manufacturing or production environment.
• 3+ years in a leadership or team lead role, with responsibility for people or process oversight.
• Strong understanding of production workflows, safety requirements, and quality standards.
• Fluency in English is required, Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee shift operations and meet safety, quality, and throughput targets.
• Communicate clearly during shift handoffs and identify challenges.
• Conduct floor walks to verify safety, housekeeping, and quality standards.
• Assist with production line setup, changeovers, and coverage on machinery.
• Verify materials are available and perform post-changeover quality checks.
• Maintain production activity records in ERP/WMS/LMS and shift reports.
• Monitor line performance and escalate downtime according to procedures.
• Support training and development of team members.
• Ensure compliance with policies, safety regulations, and food safety requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Management.
