Overview

Stewart-Amos Sweeper Co. is seeking a motivated and skilled Production & Service Technician to join our dynamic team. Whether you’re starting your mechanical career or bringing years of expertise, we offer a supportive environment where safety, excellence, and continuous growth are priorities.

What You’ll Do:

1. Assemble, test, and prepare street sweepers for delivery.
2. Perform equipment diagnostics, maintenance, refurbishment, and repairs (mechanical, hydraulic, electrical).
3. Provide field service support, customer training, and equipment demonstrations.
4. Maintain comprehensive documentation related to service and production.
5. Collaborate on initiatives to enhance production efficiency and quality.
6. Ensure cleanliness, safety, and organization of shop and fieldwork areas.

Ideal Candidates Have

1. Mechanical aptitude with a willingness to learn and grow.
2. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
3. Commitment to quality workmanship and continuous improvement.
4. Ability to independently troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges.
5. Dedication to maintaining workplace safety standards.

Preferred (But Not Required)

1. Experience diagnosing, repairing, and rebuilding diesel or gasoline engines, especially Kubota engines.
2. Previous experience in an authorized OEM service center environment.

The Pay Range For This Role Is

30 - 40 USD per hour (Harrisburg, PA)
