Job summary

Oldcastle APG, a CRH company, seeks a Production and Safety Coordinator to support scheduling, inventory, and purchasing of raw materials. The role collaborates with Operations/Plant management to ensure on-time delivery and safe operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; some college in business preferred.
• Proficient with Excel and Word.
• Ability to learn product technical information.
• Ability to multi-task in fast-paced environment.
• Ability to solve practical problems and adapt to changing situations.
• Must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Analyze sales order releases for capacity planning and material requirements.
• Issue production schedules to plants to maximize on-time delivery.
• Advise on shipping information and delivery dates.
• Maintain communication with production and purchasing on material status and planning issues.
• Coordinate with Operations or Plant Manager on inventory levels.
• Participate in physical inventories.
• Order and supervise unloading of raw materials.
• Order parts and supplies in Purchasing System.
• Assist EH&S Manager with safety training as needed.
• Perform other duties as requested.
